Neurostasis Dart Shooter; Neurostasis Darts

Also known in slang as the "Greengun", and the "30 second brain killer", the Neurostasis Darts are one of the most lethal biochemical weapons Solbadia has developed.

When a live creature of any type is shot by one of these darts, in 30 seconds their entire brain will instantly die, killing them.

When combined with the antidote to the Neurostasis darts, it becomes a very useful interrogation device.
Some editions of the Neurostasis Dart Shooters even have a little timer on them to show how long it will be till the victim dies.

Here is an example of Solbadia's methods for interrogation with the Neurostasis Dart Shooter:

He sat on a cold, hard metal chair in the center of a small square room. There was a black screen directly in front of his eyes. He could feel the freezing back of his chair digging into his spine.

A voice came up from the intercom.
"Hello, Mr... John? Ah, no... Sorry. There are too many of you these days. I keep getting mixed up. Mr. Ryan Russel Jones. Human, male, 23, 5"8... Too many humans these days. Well-"

A jolt of pain hit Ryan's knee. He looked down painfully to see a thin, green dart jutting out of his leg. He could feel his whole body turn cold. The black screen in front of him lit up with green numbers.

The intercom cackled.
"Mr. Jones, I am sure you know of the Neurostasis Darts we developed at the Solbadian institute. You will die once that timer reaches Zero, unless you are willing to talk from now on. Hmm? What do you say?"

Ryan's body was starting to lose so much temperature that he couldn't even sweat. His knees were shaking. Was that an effect of the dart? No.

"You could have been useful to us, Mr. Jones... Ah, well."

"Wait! I'LL TELL EVERYTHING!"

A loud metal THUD sounded. The force of the antidote slamming against his lower leg had fractured the bone. Ryan was alive.

"Go ahead, Mr. Jones. We will listen to anything you have to say. As long as you are willing to help Solbadia, you have nothing to fear from us."

I've got a question. Who's trusting Solbadia NOT to kill you after you're done talking? Wouldn't they just betray that trust and shoot another dart?

who says, they won't 8-). What's from stopping them? In fact they have more reason to have you dead (once they extract the information) then have you alive. You know what I mean.

It has a very convincing psychological effect on weaker minds. Who's to say whether they live in the end or not... >_> <_<

It's also useful for making sure people die. The antidote isn't easy to get, and since the time limit is 30 seconds it doesn't give them much of a chance of procuring one of they don't have one...
The dart can be shot at any part of the body, the arm, the leg, the heel ;D... 30 seconds later the victim has died.

Is there magic taught in the ISOU that can cure it it? Or at least slow it? Does it travel through the bloodstream, or just spread like a plant's roots?

For now, not even Secretary knows how these neurostasis darts work. Of course, if she could get one she probably would figure it out. Anyone's welcome to get one for her from the numerous Solbadian authorities that wander around the roleplay starting... now.
