Explanation of the ISOU

ISOU stands for the International School of Unity.

This Roleplay was first started on December 8th, 2004.
It shut down for a while in the summer of 2005.

Now the ISOU is starting again with a Scifi-ish theme.

The entire roleplay is a VR (Virtual Reality) console. To understand this better, read "The Story".

This thread is supposed to explain the basics so you know how roleplaying works here.

The first thing to do is to go through the Introductions board for a understanding of the website, which you are doing right now. ^^' So you've started off pretty well.

The second course of action should be to create a character. There is a special catergory for creating your characters. A character profile consists of the VR profile and the Reality profile.
These will be explained in the characters section.

You can create either a teacher or a student here.

It gets more complicated when you start thinking of the race of the character, how they look in reality, how they look in VR.
Also, each character should come from a different part of the world. You can choose either the Supercountry of Solbadia, the developing rival, Calera, or any other small country or place that you can make up on your own. ^^

You can even doodle a little emblem, upload it to the your profile on the website, and use it as your avatar. If you want. X_X

There are plenty of oppurtunities for different characters here at the ISOU, since you can roleplay both as characters in the console and in reality.

So there will be seperate boards for reality and virtual reality.
They will be labeled as that so you don't get too confused.

Now for a brief, step-by step summary if you didn't get what you just read.

How to join the ISOU

1- Read this Thread
2- Choose a character board.
3- Read the instruction thread on the character board you pick.
4- Follow the instructions to create a character
5- Make your character thread
6- Read "The Story" located on this board
7- Wait for character vertification
8- Roleplay!
