Maikau Seimorase, a rather tall looking dark-skinned individual, sat on the virtual Earth surrounding the Fountain in the ISOU Courtyard. Recent events in Solbadia had severely changed the way he thought, and he now wore a dark black hooded robe over his traditional ash-blackened leather armor. He sat with his legs crossed, and his head down, the hood blowing slightly in a calm wind he had created himself with the phrase "Xerni Ner". His face was well-hidden under the torn and tattered hood that he had come across in Solbadia. He sat in deep thought, never truly falling asleep, though he was never truly awake.
...alive. The damned beasts are alive! Their technology... It's as though they transcended life itself. But they're back... The prison... One of them knocked me out... I need to get back to the Demonic Capital, but Firei told me it has been destroyed... The Demonic Isles are separate of course, but that will be the next target, I'm sure... Something... Something's not right here. The Korhesions were dead. I'd say that the one I saw was merely impersonating one, but I've run over the memory over a hundred times, and it all adds up. I saw that tattoo. I killed the Korhesion that bore that tattoo. That slashed arrow... The sign... Wait... The Capital... We controlled the... Oh hell... The traders... They... But Then... That... that would mean that they were also high up in the Government... Which means that the Demonic Kingdom wasn't destroyed. They would have no use... It was... overthrown... Solbadia will need help... I have no doubt about that... But they won't accept it. Calera might, but the threat of Korhesions has long since passed. I need allies. I need contacts. If history is going to repeat itself like it did so long... Wait... so long ago, their technology was far above ours. What about now? Now... No! Screw that! They can have their technology. We have real magic. Better magic. This school... it needs more students... It needs more... members. I need to form contacts... Korbaine... He knew Maikau... But I have no idea where he is. Seth is dead, but his son is still extremely young, and is just as good a magic user... he could become a teacher... Maishu is also dead, but her grandson... no... not that traitor... no... Strong he may be, but he's more likely to go with the Korhesion than his brethren... Jackel... A vampire he may be, but that means that he is strong... Secretary... No... she can't know. I know for a fact that she'll figure it out within the first few days, but that can be worked into the plan... I can't trust anyone but Jackel... Everyone else could be a Korhesion. Jackel could be, but I overheard that conversation... Korvei Nicrose. That was the Korhesion I saw... the Korhesion I killed... No! Stay focused. Weapons... No weapon can compare to the Korhesion design... the Demonic Isle will have to be secured. That is not only the largest known stockpile of Korhesion artifacts, but the dig site there unearthed something that I was told might be of use... Primitive enough to understand... advanced enough to circle the planet in a matter of minutes... The Bendrai Necropolis... That could very easily be used... The old city is gone, but a Necromancer could raise enough soldiers to take Solbadia within minutes. But how much will that help against the Korhesions? Their smallest knives can cause mayhem with the elemental orbs embedded into the crescent...
His thoughts shot through his mind like bullets, and each one sent a reverberating echo that bounced around his head for a few seconds before he could finally get it out of his mind. He had chosen the ISOU because he thought he was less likely to be disturbed. Unfortunately, he forgot how much attention he could draw. There was a time when he couldn't stand to be ignored. Now he wanted to be. Of course, no one else knew that.

Jackel materialized in the courtyard after turning on his console. He looked around and noticed Maikau sitting in what was obviously deep thought. Jackel decided not to bother him to much so he sat down to meditate. A whisp of wind played with his pony-tail and it almost looked as though his hair was indeed a separate entity. A small mouse construct was nibbling on some crumbs of some sort. Jackel noticed this and made the crumb bigger using a few choice words in his native tongue. "griso naron gein." The words themselves held no power just direction. The power is a much more difficult explanation.

...then they would have to- magic... that's some sort of magic...
Maikau's eyes opened under the hood of the cloak, and he turned to look at Jackel for a few seconds before rising quickly. His hood turned to look at the Vampire, but nothing showed from under it. A thinly spoken voice sounded from under the hood, and every word made it plain that the six foot, eight inch tall Demon was not happy to be disturbed. The only reason he didn't walk away is because the person that had appeared was Jackel, the one least likely to be a Korhesion in disguise.
"So, you have chosen to interrupt me, Jackel. No matter; with the Korhesions back, I suppose I need a jolt of reality every now and then." He spoke conversationally, even though he was sure that Jackel didn't know of the Korhesions' return, even though it was possible that he did, "But I'm sure you already know of that. One of them broke into a Solbadian prison, after all. Not sure who she was hunting, but she killed a few guards and knocked me unconcious for a few minutes. Took out a wall, too," he lied there, as he had destroyed the wall, "and I saw it. The Demonic Kingdom is in peril right now... not good.
"But I'm sure that in using magic, you were trying to get my attention," he knew that wasn't the case, however, "and so you have it. What do you want?"

"yes i have interupted you. what consequence is this? i could block most of your spells. even the ones in the korhesion language. you are correct in assuming i knew of the attack on the prison though to be honest all that was put on the world wide was that a mysterious figure killed some gaurds and helped a high priority prisoner to escape. you are also correct in the fact that i am not korhesion. my race is much older than theirs. in fact there are those of the much older generation who remember the rise of the korhesions though they are soon to leave us for the void. no matter. what was this about the demonic kingdom? i am one of the few that fully realize what their fall would result in. i've seen it." he sighed and shook his head at that thought. the posible future is never a good thing to dwell apon.

((What? I don't understand the question. I get the part, "Might I inquire as to which", but what conversation are you talking about? I'd post, but I don't want to have to modify because I did something wrong.))

((Through the Looking Wire, Fountain Courtyard.
On a side note, The Elder Scrolls Four: Oblivion came out about two weeks ago, and I'm hooked. I'm getting online slightly more, and I'll be active again within a week, though I'll try to post as much as is... necessary.
And sometime between July and September, Spore comes out, which will keep me hooked even longer. Sorry.))
